Cecilia Fernandez

Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, she is Product Manager at Mastercard, focusing on User Experience of Open Banking products across Europe.

Cecilia collaborates closely with the experience design team to create intuitive and user-centric solutions. By aligning business requirements with user needs, she ensures the seamless integration of UX principles throughout the product development process.

Beyond her office work, she actively contributes to the tech community. For a number of years, she was advisory board member for Career Club DK and Ambassador for Google Women Techmakers, advocating for women's empowerment. Simultaneously, she publishes opinion articles on Medium, sharing experiences and perspectives about the UX ecosystem. Diversifying her expertise, Cecilia served as Scientific Coordinator and Professor of UX and graphic design, supporting teachers, and advising students on design and technical strategies.

In her experience, whether contributing to digital narratives at Mastercard or advocating for women's empowerment, she aims to be a driving force in the UX landscape.
