Localization lead
Cara has been scribbling for a living since 2017. She first started as a freelance travel writer in Japan, then began to hone into UX writing when she moved to New York City in 2019.
At Instagram, Cara led collaboration efforts between the content design and localization teams by holding workshops and introducing internal tooling. This experience led her to become the localization lead for NBCUniversal, making sure that the world's favorite TV streaming platforms are loved by users who speak different languages.
Recently, she joined PayPal as a senior content designer, reimagining how money flows between friends and businesses.
In her free time, Cara likes to go hiking and canoeing. She's hoping to represent USA in the Dragon Boat World Championships in 2025!
