Aleksandra Melnikova

Aleks is a co-founder of Cosmic Velocity, a London-based service design agency that specialises in crafting inclusive digital products, services, and training. The agency's mission is to contribute to a more inclusive world through intentional design.

Prior to launching Cosmic, Aleks led various design teams across prominent UX/product design agencies, including ORM, Foolproof, BIO, Radley Yeldar, Publicis Poke, and Inviqa (formerly Webcredible). During this time, she successfully delivered products and services for a diverse range of clients in industries such as travel, finance, real estate, and healthcare, along with developing systems for internal audiences.

With degrees in both Art and Service Design, Aleks is passionate about experimenting with new methods, approaches, and tools. Notably, the tools she has designed and launched address various needs, including facilitating the discovery of diverse children's books, assisting with dyslexia, promoting inclusive content, and making research activities more accessible. Her current area of interest and focus revolves around inclusive research, aiming to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to actively participate in and lead research initiatives.
