How Designers can be the Catalyst for Change

What are the challenges of enterprise software design and how shifting to an employee experience mindset can change the game.

About this session

About this webinar

Recently, companies started to see the value of paying more attention to the experience of their workforce. They want Employee Experience to be positive in order to attract the best candidates, retain talent and stimulate productivity. At the same time, employees expect their work experiences to match the quality of experiences they have when consuming products.

However, the problem is that not every enterprise software has been designed with the current needs of employees at the center of the design, and going through this challenge not only requires UX designers to understand the constraints of employee-centricity but also requires a cultural shift in large organizations.

My experience transitioning from Zendesk - one of the world's most well-known customer-focused software companies - to one of the largest food companies, Nestlé, gave me the perspective I needed to understand how important it is for us to start growing our skills on leadership, influence and facilitation to make an effective change in our industry.

Let's explore why Employee Experience is a company-wide initiative and how UX specialists can fundamentally shift the dynamics of the workplace

What you will learn

In this presentation we will explore the landscape of enterprise UX, the challenges at large organizations and how designers can drive cultural change by embedding employee-centricity practices.
