Few people can honestly say they build the future through their work. That's what we do as designers, developers, and application builders: We make decisions on behalf of other people about how they interact with the world, and through our creations, we quite literally build the future for ourselves and our users.

Every design you make, every line of code you write guides someone else towards a future of your design, yet when we build things we tend to describe them as "just code".
