UX Meme Contest Rules

‍How to Participate:

  1. Create a meme related to UX design, research, or experiences.
  2. Share the meme on social media using the designated hashtag #UXNordicMeme by 28 July 2024‍
  • ‍Limit of 3 meme submissions per participant.

Judging Criteria:

  • Creativity: Original and innovative ideas.
  • Relevance: Relation to UX design, research, or experiences.
  • Humor: The meme's ability to engage and amuse.

Voting Process:

  1. Finalist Selection: Five finalists will be chosen by Westwerk Events ApS based on the judging criteria.
  2. Voting Period: Voting will take place during the conference from August 28 to August 29.
  3. Voting Methods: Vote on Social Media using the hashtag #UXNordicVote and the meme's identifier.

Prize:

  • The winner will receive a pair of Apple AirPod Max.

Submission Deadline:

  • All memes must be submitted by 28 July 2024.

UX Meme Contest Terms and Conditions

By participating in this Contest, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before entering.

Eligibility

  • The Contest is open to all conference attendees aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees of Westwerk Events ApS and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Contest Period

  • The Contest begins on 28 June 2024 and ends on 28 July 2024. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

How to Enter

  • Create a meme related to UX design, research, or experiences.
  • Share the meme on social media using the designated hashtag #UXNordicMeme.
  • If you post on LinkedIn, feel free to also tag our @UX Nordic Conference.
  • Each participant can submit up to 3 memes.

Submission Guidelines

  • Memes must be original and created by the participant.
  • Memes should not contain any copyrighted material or offensive content.
  • By submitting a meme, you grant Westwerk Events ApS a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the meme in any media.

Judging and Voting

  • The top 5 finalists will be selected by Westwerk Events ApS's jury based on creativity, relevance, and humor.
  • Finalist memes will be displayed at the conference and on social media.
  • Voting will begin on August 28 and close on August 29 at.
  • The winner will be determined by audience votes during the conference via social media and QR code voting screens.

Prices

  • The winner will receive a pair of Apple Airpods Max.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Disqualification

  • Westwerk Events Aps reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.

Liability

  • Westwerk Events Aps is not responsible for any technical issues, loss, or damage to submissions.
  • By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Westwerk Events Aps, its employees, and agents from any liability or claim arising from your participation in the Contest.

Withdrawal of Submission

  • Participants may withdraw their submission by sending a request to ls@westwerk.dk before the Contest end date.
  • Upon withdrawal, Westwerk Events ApS will remove the participant's submission from consideration.

Data Privacy

  • Personal information collected during the Contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Amendments

  • Westwerk Events ApS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Contest webpage.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
